Crizal Sapphire is a stack of lens enhancing layers designed to sit on the front and back of the lens. Together, the layers work to protect the wearer’s eyes from UV light, deliver lens protection and optimal vision.

Water Repellency
Microscopic gaps in the coating are filled with Hydrophobic (water repellent) molecules. Therefore, smoothing the surface of the lens, which allows water droplets to roll from the lens surface without leaving a trace.

An anti-static layer prevents positive dust particles sitting on the lens.
Scratch Resistance
Lenses are protected by a scratch resistant booster, a nano millimetre layer located behind the AR layer. The scratch resistant booster layer is designed to gradually increases in hardness
