How often do you require an eye test?
Eye examinations are FREE to everyone in Scotland under the NHS. We recommend patients take regular eye examinations every one to two years, and especially if you are:
- Age 60+
- From a family with a history of glaucoma or other eye conditons.
Regular eye examinations are fundamental to the health of your eyes. When detected early enough they allow us to monitor cataracts, diabetes, glaucoma and macular degeneration.
